Hi all
I'm really disappointed tonight!
Although my kids are a bit old for trick or treating i made the effort tonight -spiders web in the window and big bowl of sweets ready and guess what?It is now 9.30 and we have not had 1 knock at the door!!
My kids used to love going out(supervised) but nothing tonight-kids today eh
Ah well the teenagers will soon wolf down all the choccies
Hope you've all had a good Halloween

We didn't have any callers either.

However, I am not keen on the dark or Halloween. So pleased that I had no
callers so I did not have to answer the door.

We had lots of little youngsters, all happily accepting their treats, and almost without exception, all of them wanting to come in and "stroke the dog," who is hugely popular with the little ones. He was slumbering in the lounge and thought all his birthdays had come at once as a succession of little ones came to pat him!

I had two great nights on the run up to Halloween.

On Thursday I saw Alice Cooper at the Birmingham NIA for his Halloween night of fear. Was fantastic. I've seen Alice a few times now and this was by far the best one so far.

Friday I went back to an old haunt of mine Eddie's rock club in Birmingham to see Inkubus Sukkubus, who I've been a fan of for years but they rarely visit Brum and Arthur has prevented me seeing them in the past. Again had a great night, met a friend I'd lost touch with 10 years ago and made some great new scary friends too a great night, I'd forgotten how good it was (must go back often!)

On Saturday I tagged along to Marie's 5K in Sutton Park, wore us ra peeps out but a fanatastic turn out and was lovely to meet Marie's family and friends.

Now been invited to the Nightmare before Christmas fancy dress night at Eddies on 17th.. Have to choose my costume :)

Only 360 days until Halloween!

Bit late with this, but oh well!! We had lots of lovely littlies, and some bigger ones!! they enjoyed stroking Ernie and he loves the attention. Poor old Coco is too old now and stays in his bed out of the way. All of our treats but two went, so a good eveningSmile

Our music department administrator at school (Junior school) is definitely missing children's halloween, her sons are teenagers, the music department looked like a grotto and we all had halloween stickers and pencils by our pianos and scary chocolate cake in the staff room! The kids thought it was fab...
I didn't take my black cat to work though, she said she was busy sleeping Wink
